Senior Finance Systems Analyst – Clinical Solutions

About the role

The Senior Finance Systems Analyst will partner with Clinical Solutions departments to drive portfolio‑level financial health. You will own forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while ensuring financial controls across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver portfolio‑wide financial analysis, including budget health, forecast accuracy, margin performance, and risk identification.
• Oversee project finance from award to closeout, enforcing best practices and internal controls.
• Perform variance analysis (actual vs. forecast vs. budget) to surface scope changes and emerging risks.
• Support departmental forecasting, monitor budget consumption, earned value, and change‑order impacts.
• Develop and maintain trial‑operations KPIs that link operational performance to financial outcomes.
• Create scalable Excel and Power BI dashboards for portfolio governance and executive review.
• Prepare executive‑ready presentations summarizing performance, risks, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Finance teams to align operational execution with financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in finance, accounting, business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project finance, preferably within a CRO environment.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior operational leaders.
