Senior Software Engineer, AI Billing

About the role

Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare and needs a senior engineer to scale its AI‑driven billing platform, Insights. You will own the full‑stack development of a high‑traffic web application that supports thousands of practices nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction of the Insights platform, ensuring scalability for millions of users.
• Design, build, and maintain full‑stack solutions using ReactJS, Python and PostgreSQL.
• Improve reliability and observability through monitoring, logging and alerting best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to guarantee high availability and resilience.
• Mentor engineers, conduct deep code reviews and promote architectural improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building scalable full‑stack applications.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑month, high‑impact projects in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong communication skills and experience presenting technical concepts to cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• JavaScript (React, Vue) and ReactJS fundamentals.
• Python development.
• PostgreSQL database design and performance tuning.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with modern API patterns (GraphQL, REST, gRPC) and CI/CD pipelines.
