Technical Recruiter – Oil & Gas (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter with deep expertise in Brazil's oil & gas market to lead full‑cycle hiring for offshore engineering and specialized technical positions. The role is remote, supporting AgileHRO’s global HR platform and its clients in the offshore sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for offshore technical crews, subsea engineers, project managers, and specialized technicians.
• Proactively source talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry databases and networks in Brazilian O&G hubs (Rio de Janeiro, Macaé, Santos).
• Conduct initial screenings to verify mandatory offshore certifications (e.g., CBSP, HUET, NR‑13, NR‑33, NR‑35) and engineering credentials (CREA).
• Partner with hiring managers and operations leads to define job requirements and provide market salary benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor laws (CLT) and maritime/offshore regulations throughout the hiring process.
• Build and maintain a robust bench of qualified candidates for rapid mobilization on upcoming offshore projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years focused exclusively on the oil & gas/offshore sector in Brazil.
• Strong knowledge of offshore roles such as ROV pilots, drillers, rig managers, subsea engineers and HSE officers.
• Familiarity with mandatory training and certification standards (OPITO, Brazilian NRs).
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced/fluency in English for reporting and global coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight mobilization deadlines and manage high‑volume technical hiring.
