Technical Support Specialist (Financial Crime Compliance)

About the role

As a Technical Support Specialist you will work directly with tier‑1 financial institutions to resolve production issues on complex, cloud‑native and on‑premise platforms. You will investigate, reproduce, and debug incidents across distributed systems, helping customers maintain compliance and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform deep technical investigations of real‑world issues affecting production environments.
• Analyze application logs, configuration files, data feeds, and database records to pinpoint root causes.
• Reproduce problems by building realistic test environments that mirror customer deployments.
• Debug behavior across APIs, messaging middleware, and databases in hybrid cloud settings.
• Collaborate with product teams to file high‑quality defect reports and influence product improvements.
• Participate in Severity‑1 incident response with customers and internal teams.
• Continuously expand expertise as new features, architectures, and technologies are released.

Required profile

• Strong experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native architectures and production‑level troubleshooting.
• Advanced English and Spanish language proficiency.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Cloud environments (public, private, hybrid).
• Java‑based web applications, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SAML, OAuth.
• REST APIs and request/response lifecycles.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• SQL debugging, Oracle and SQL Server relational databases.
• Working with JSON, XML and proprietary data formats.
