Accountant – Full-time Remote

About the role

Foundey is looking for a full‑time remote Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support the company’s growth in the SaaS and cybersecurity space. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and reconcile accounts.
• Handle payroll processing and support financial audits.
• Collaborate with design and technology teams to provide accurate financial data.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes.
• Maintain documentation for tax compliance and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Proficiency in accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting; CRC certification is mandatory.
• Knowledge of tax compliance, budget preparation and audit processes.
• Experience with accounting software such as WaveApp or Quickbooks.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to handle complex data.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Understanding of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Prior experience in compliance or governance roles is a plus.
• Full English fluency.
