About the role

The Financial Controller Analyst will support Ocean Network Express' Latin American subsidiaries, ensuring seamless communication between regional and global headquarters while upholding rigorous financial and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication between Regional and Global Headquarters for all LAM subsidiaries.
• Monitor internal financial procedures to guarantee compliance with corporate policies.
• Oversee corporate governance activities across the Latin America region.
• Track and review financial statement submissions from LAM countries.
• Prepare and submit dividend proposals to Global Headquarters after external audit completion.
• Review and analyze contracts (agency agreements, leases, sub‑agent agreements, articles of association, acquisitions) to mitigate risk.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in English; basic Spanish.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with G‑Suite, especially Google Sheets.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Basic knowledge of AI applications in finance.
• Effective use of Gmail and related collaboration tools.
