About the role

Philips is looking for a Senior Engineering Analyst to develop, analyze, and improve medical device products and systems. The role involves robust engineering practices, cross‑functional collaboration, and strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot testing failures, document anomalies, and initiate corrective actions under general supervision.
• Execute targeted development assignments, make timely decisions, and close work items according to team agreements.
• Synthesize proven approaches to solve complex product design and manufacturing challenges.
• Develop new product designs and improvements for medical instrumentation, aligning with customer requirements.
• Participate in building a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment framework for multiple initiatives.
• Conduct preliminary studies, modify subsystem designs, and ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers on integration phases, criteria, tests, and support installation at clinical sites.
• Stay updated on field developments, promote cross‑functional collaboration, and interact with stakeholders to align project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience in system architecture, system design, or hardware engineering.
• Strong capabilities in troubleshooting, requirements analysis, systems engineering, systems integration, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, quality systems, simulation tools, and an analytical mindset (CSEP certification is a plus).
