Application Development Specialist – Electrical Markets

About the role

As an Application Development Specialist in the Electrical Markets Division, you will provide engineering support and solutions to industrial customers and power utilities across Brazil and Latin America. You will work closely with key accounts, develop applications, and ensure product compliance with regional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver application engineering support to industrial customers and power utilities in Brazil and LATAM.
• Partner with key accounts to understand requirements, develop solutions, homologate products, and prepare technical reports.
• Review and interpret quotations, bids, and technical documents.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as product specifications, user manuals, and datasheets.
• Stay updated on local electrical standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop innovative products and solutions.
• Provide solutions for data centers and renewable‑energy customers.
• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Materials, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics acceptable).
• Advanced proficiency in English (resume must be in English).
• Willingness to travel within Brazil and other Latin American countries.
• Expertise in medium‑voltage (MV) electrical products and their applications.
• Familiarity with regional electrical market regulations.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and analyze bid documents.

Required skills

• Medium‑voltage electrical product knowledge.
• Experience with medium‑voltage cable accessories.
• Reading and interpreting single‑line diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Product homologation processes with power utilities.
• Technical documentation creation (specifications, instruction sheets, datasheets).
