Area Manager, Reverse Logistics Operations

About the role

We are looking for a results‑oriented Area Manager to lead daily operations at our reverse logistics site. The role combines hands‑on operational management with team development, focusing on process execution, continuous improvement, and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of associates handling failed gear sorting, RMA processing, vendor returns, and asset recovery.
• Maintain an active floor presence for up to 12 hours per shift, providing hands‑on support and leading by example.
• Monitor work queues and SLA adherence, ensuring timely processing of returns and shipments.
• Audit employee work to meet quality standards and operational requirements.
• Use data and metrics to prioritize issues, conduct deep dives when needed, and recommend workflow improvements.
• Conduct regular team meetings, daily huddles, and shift briefings to communicate priorities and performance.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and on‑the‑job training to develop team members.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and procedural standards.
• Track and report on KPIs such as throughput, quality, and safety metrics.

Required profile

• Strong people leadership with the ability to lead a 24/7 operation.
• Data‑driven mindset and experience using metrics to drive decisions.
• Flexibility to work rotating day and night 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to make quick decisions on the floor and resolve operational issues independently.
