Assistant Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Natal, Brazil. The role supports the preparation of financial statements, month‑end close, and reporting for a growing mineral exploration company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash reconciliations.
• Help prepare budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Support tax filings, statutory reporting and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with Brazilian accounting standards.
• Provide financial analysis for operational projects and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and collaborative attitude.
• Current residence in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte.
