Brazil Tax Operational Excellence Specialist

About the role

The Brazil Tax Operational Excellence Specialist independently performs moderately complex tax activities, translating regulatory requirements into actionable process and system changes. Working with limited supervision, the specialist supports tax compliance, process improvement, and the implementation of tax legislation across Cargill's Brazil operations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in tax projects, coordinate and monitor tax, financial and compliance systems for troubleshooting, training, and data quality.
• Respond to moderately complex tax inquiries and transaction issues from subsidiaries, joint ventures, and business staff.
• Analyze tax processes and applications to identify improvement opportunities and optimize data flow into tax reporting.
• Develop tax solutions, recommend optimizations, and implement tax planning ideas and analytical tools.
• Provide tax counsel, communicate implementation details, and deliver specialized tax training sessions.
• Conduct tax research, translate legislative changes into actionable business requirements, and collaborate with tax technology teams.
