Brazilian Accounting & Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

North Star Network is seeking a Brazilian Accounting & Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage finance operations for its Brazilian activities. The role is fully remote and involves invoicing, cash management, and coordination with external accounting partners to ensure compliance and smooth financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and validate monthly billing data from affiliate platforms and internal reporting.
• Prepare and issue Nota Fiscal (NF) invoices, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with operators and internal stakeholders to resolve billing questions and exceptions.
• Monitor customer payments, follow up on overdue invoices, and reconcile collections with bank transactions.
• Act as the main liaison with the external accounting firm and support monthly closings.
• Monitor tax filings, payments, and compliance deadlines.
• Identify and implement improvements to invoicing, collection, and reporting processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts receivable, or fiscal administration in Brazil, preferably in a digital business.
• Strong knowledge of Nota Fiscal processes and Brazilian tax regulations.
• Experience managing accounts receivable and performing bank reconciliations.
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English.
• Ability to work independently in an international, fully remote environment.
