Clinical Project Manager (Rare Diseases / CNS)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring a Clinical Project Manager focused on Rare Diseases and CNS, working remotely from Brazil. The role leads and coordinates project activities so that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, with a focus on coordinating project and programme delivery, resolving issues and developing team capability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinate their efforts and facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues and implement strategies to keep projects on track.
• Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and keep them aligned with project goals.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business or a related field preferred, with significant project management and team leadership experience.
• Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion within scope, time and budget.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, able to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
