Pharmacovigilance Director (FSP Sponsor Dedicated)

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Director in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON's global expertise. As Director, you will oversee the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pharmacovigilance and drug safety delivery across the portfolio, setting standards and developing the team.
• Develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Work with cross-functional teams to assess safety data and identify potential risks of pharmaceutical products.
• Oversee the analysis and interpretation of safety data to drive insights and risk mitigation.
• Provide strategic guidance on best practices for adverse event reporting and safety monitoring in clinical trials and post-marketing.
• Build partnerships with external stakeholders to stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
