About the role

The Consultant will support the second phase of the Viva o Verde SP project, developing financing strategies for ten public parks in São Paulo. Reporting to the Head of the Brazil Office, the role combines research, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning to ensure long‑term sustainability of green public spaces.

Key responsibilities

Plan consultancy activities, defining methodology, workplan and schedule.
Identify and analyse good practices of park financing and economic activities applicable to the ten target parks.
Assess opportunities, risks, enabling conditions, barriers and mitigation measures for each financing mechanism.
Prepare methodology, supporting materials and facilitation plan for participatory workshops.
Conduct ten participatory workshops with public officials, civil‑society representatives and other stakeholders.
Systematise workshop discussions and consolidate recommendations into tailored financing strategies for each park.
Prepare a roadmap outlining steps, enabling conditions and recommendations for implementing the proposed financing strategies.
