About the role

The Labor and Union Relations Consultant provides expert advice and support to business leaders and HR teams across Brazil, ensuring a healthy organizational climate while guaranteeing compliance with labor, civil, social security, and compliance regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Consult and advise on labor and union matters, aligning with ILSS, human rights, collective and individual agreements.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
• Support M&A projects by addressing labor‑related aspects.
• Conduct preventive mapping of labor risks at sites and coordinate global risk‑management processes.
• Develop and monitor mitigation plans to minimize business and employee impact.
• Represent the company in labor litigation when required.

Required profile

• Prior knowledge of Brazilian labor and union legislation, international labor standards, and HR sub‑areas.
• Proven experience negotiating directly with labor and employer unions, defining negotiation strategies, and drafting collective agreements.
• Strong negotiation abilities, strategic analysis of indicators, and effective communication with leaders.
• Project‑management experience and ability to interface with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, and related analytical tools.
