Controllership Director – Financial Reporting & Budget Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Controllership Director to lead financial reporting, budgeting and performance analysis for our multinational group in São Paulo. The role reports directly to the CFO for Latin America and is responsible for ensuring accurate consolidation of financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and consolidate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Develop short‑, medium‑ and long‑term budgets, including P&L forecasts, balance‑sheet projections, cash‑flow planning, funding needs, tax impact analysis and risk mapping.
• Analyse and monitor performance indicators and sales campaign results across business units.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems, EVA, Balanced Scorecard and ABC costing methodologies.
• Collaborate with senior finance leaders to support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Administration or Economics, complemented by a postgraduate qualification.
• Significant experience in a multinational environment, preferably with exposure to Big Four accounting firms.
• Fluent English communication skills.
