Corporate Lawyer – Brazil (São Paulo)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Lawyer to join our growing team in São Paulo, Brazil. The successful candidate will support international clients in establishing and operating businesses in Brazil while driving new client acquisition and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the legal representative for clients establishing entities in Brazil, handling interactions with banks, commercial registries, tax authorities and other regulators.
• Manage end‑to‑end company formation, CNPJ registration and bank account opening, reducing client travel and accelerating setup.
• Own the full sales cycle – prospecting, qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation and closing of new business.
• Draft, review and execute engagement letters, service agreements and corporate formation documents ensuring compliance.
• Guide clients through KYC, onboarding and corporate structuring, escalating complex matters when needed.
• Oversee day‑to‑day administration of the São Paulo office and coordinate with internal teams, service providers, banks and accountants.
• Represent the firm at networking events, industry seminars and client meetings while maintaining CRM records and pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) with permission to practice in São Paulo.
• 2–4 years of experience in a client‑facing legal, business development or commercial role.
• Proven track record of originating, managing and closing client engagements.
• Fluent Portuguese and English; conversational Spanish.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced international environment.
