Director of Learning Science (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to drive its evidence‑based learning model that enables students to master content in just two hours per day. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution, translating learning‑science research into practical curriculum, motivation systems, and technology architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that turn learning‑science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, student motivation, and application architecture.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and delivery of measurable outcomes across school sites.
• Analyze data, interview stakeholders, and observe classrooms to produce ecosystem assessments, identify high‑impact obstacles, and recommend targeted interventions.
• Establish strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback loops, and milestone oversight.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning publicly, delivering keynotes and engaging with Ministries of Education to promote systemic transformation.

Required profile

• Proven track record of setting and owning an academic vision with measurable results.
• Direct leadership experience, not merely advisory, with credibility to present work publicly.
• Experience aligning execution across multiple school implementations and raising academic leadership standards.
• Ability to translate scientific principles into disciplined operational practice.
