About the role

The Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana is seeking a strategic Director of Revenue Management to lead its revenue strategy team. This senior position is responsible for driving hotel performance through pricing, inventory, and profit‑optimization initiatives across all revenue centers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the hotel’s revenue strategy, aligning with brand positioning and market dynamics.
• Lead the strategic planning process, collaborating with rooms, food & beverage, spa and other profit‑generation teams.
• Produce short‑ and long‑term forecasts, budgets and long‑term financial projections.
• Monitor economic, market and competitive indicators to inform profit‑generation tactics.
• Chair weekly Revenue Management meetings and present insights to ownership and corporate stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, perform analysis, and recommend pricing and inventory adjustments.
• Mentor and develop revenue management talent within the property.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in hotel revenue management or a comparable commercial role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team.
