Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist supports Brazil Operations by ensuring fair, respectful, and consistent treatment of employees in line with Amazon's core values. The role partners with HR Business Partners, legal teams, and site leadership to navigate employee relations topics, promote policy understanding, and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze associate and manager feedback through data analysis and on‑site visits.
• Identify and mitigate risks by assessing site launch challenges, labor changes, and key metrics.
• Partner with site leadership and HR to improve associate experience, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Audit people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations.
• Prepare assessment reports for senior leadership review.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs to build employee‑relations capability.
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments, and advise on change‑management strategies.
• Investigate employee complaints, apply company policies, and guide disciplinary actions in accordance with local labor law.

Required profile

• Strong partnership skills with HR Business Partners, legal, and site leaders.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights.
• Experience conducting on‑site visits and engaging directly with hourly associates.
• Proactive mindset for risk identification and mitigation.
• Comfort handling crisis‑oriented employee‑relations issues under tight timelines.
