Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist supports Amazon Brazil Operations by ensuring fair, respectful, and consistent treatment of employees. The role partners with HR Business Partners, legal teams, and site leadership to navigate employee‑relations topics and uphold company policies and local labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze associate and manager feedback through data analysis and on‑site visits.
• Identify risks, mitigate proactive challenges, and improve the associate experience.
• Partner with site leadership and HR to enhance communication vehicles and practices.
• Audit people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations.
• Prepare assessment reports for senior leadership review.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that build employee‑relations capability.
• Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to uncover opportunities and gaps.
• Investigate employee complaints, apply appropriate disciplinary measures, and ensure compliance with local labor law.
• Balance project work with crisis‑response activities as needed.

Required profile

• Strong partnership skills with HR Business Partners, legal, and site leadership.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform business decisions.
• Experience conducting site visits and engaging directly with hourly associates.
• Proactive risk‑mitigation mindset and project‑management capabilities.
• Comfort handling complex, time‑sensitive employee‑relations issues.
