Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our finance team and support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP and statutory requirements while providing analytical insight to the business.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations and corporate reporting.
• Prepare and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations, financial statements and variance analyses.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, depreciation, amortization and inventory‑related transactions.
• Support statutory and fiscal reporting (e.g., ECD, ECF) and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits, SOX compliance activities and internal‑control reviews.
• Validate expense reimbursements and other accounting transactions for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Provide accounting guidance to business units and maintain the chart of accounts.
• Contribute to cross‑functional process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3‑4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Access.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP.
• Basic knowledge of statutory reporting and tax legislation.
