Financial Crime Compliance Lead – Latin America

About the role

Marex is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Lead to shape and strengthen its compliance framework across Latin America. Reporting to the FCC Americas team, you will drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of anti‑money laundering, sanctions, anti‑bribery, fraud and tax‑evasion controls, with an initial focus on Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust Financial Crime Compliance program for all Latin American operations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day compliance monitoring, risk assessments and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with global FCC teams in London, New York and Chicago to align regional practices with the firm’s global standards.
• Provide guidance to business units on AML, sanctions, anti‑bribery and fraud risk mitigation.
• Lead strategic initiatives, including policy updates, training programs and audit responses.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial crime regulations in Latin America, especially Brazil.
• Proven ability to work across multiple compliance disciplines and jurisdictions.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to balance strategic planning and practical execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
