Freelance Quantum Research Scientist (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Quantum Research Scientist with strong Python skills to create and validate computational physics problems for AI training projects. The work is project‑based, remote, and supports leading tech companies in testing and improving AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational physics problems that mimic real research workflows in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
• Create Python‑based problem statements using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Base problems on genuine research challenges or practical physics applications.
• Verify solutions programmatically and provide clear documentation with correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation and experience with numerical simulation methods.
• Creative ability to design realistic physics problems and strong written English (C1+).
