Head of Finance

About the role

FIFA has created a local subsidiary in Brazil to support the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. The Head of Finance will lead the finance function of this entity, shaping financial strategy and ensuring compliance with both FIFA standards and Brazilian law.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and expand the finance team covering accounting, taxes, controlling, treasury and insurance.
• Implement FIFA financial tools, policies and procedures, adapting them to local regulations.
• Oversee all finance operations: accounting, tax compliance, cash‑flow analysis, budgeting, reporting and insurance management.
• Act as a business partner to internal functions, providing financial insight and risk management.
• Coordinate consolidation, budgeting and reporting requirements with FIFA Finance Division.
• Prepare and present error‑free financial and tax reports for FIFA and senior management.
• Lead tax audits, ensure compliance with IFRS and FIFA accounting principles.
• Motivate, supervise and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a comprehensive finance function within a subsidiary or similar organization.
• Ability to implement and enforce financial policies in line with FIFA requirements and local law.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations and international accounting standards.
• Experience collaborating with senior management and external stakeholders.
