HR Business Partner

About the role

Join Neogen as an HR Business Partner supporting manufacturing operations in Pindamonhangaba. You will act as a strategic HR advisor to production, maintenance, logistics, quality and EHS teams, ensuring HR processes align with operational goals and Brazilian labor legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with production and operational areas to understand shift routines, workforce needs and operational challenges.
• Lead employee‑relations activities, disciplinary actions, absenteeism management, turnover monitoring and engagement initiatives.
• Guide supervisors on people‑management practices, labor compliance, conflict resolution and team development.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding and fast‑track hiring for operational and administrative roles.
• Ensure strict compliance with CLT, collective agreements, working‑hours, overtime, shift work, leave management and safety obligations.
• Collaborate with EHS on accident investigations, preventive actions and safety culture.
• Monitor HR KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism, occupational health indicators and training compliance.
• Support performance cycles, calibration, development and succession planning for manufacturing teams.
• Maintain accurate timesheets, overtime, vacation planning and workforce cost tracking.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives from an HR perspective.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation (CLT) and collective bargaining agreements.
• Hands‑on presence on the shop floor with the ability to understand shift work dynamics.
• Strong capability to advise managers on compliance, conflict management and team development.
• Experience supporting EHS functions and safety‑related investigations.
