Hybrid Accounting Analyst

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Hybrid Accounting Analyst to support its finance team in managing accounts receivable and cash application processes for customers in Brazil. The role combines financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and collection activities to ensure timely payments and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Brazilian customers to retrieve payments, execute collection activities, and reconcile daily/monthly accounts receivable balances.
• Prepare and send reminder letters and monthly statements to customers.
• Assess and calculate customers’ credit risk annually using credit bureau data, public information, and internal records; adjust credit limits and payment terms as needed.
• Apply customer payments promptly, investigate under‑payments, and coordinate corrective actions related to promotions, pricing, or quantity disputes.
• Support AR operations by ensuring compliance with accounting principles, processing refunds, credit notes, and commission verifications.
• Participate in process‑improvement projects and perform incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of quote‑to‑cash experience; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese (reading, writing, speaking).
• Experience in the medical‑device or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system.
