Industrial Processes Specialist

About the role

BD, a global medical technology company, is hiring an Industrial Processes Specialist in Curitiba. The role develops complex projects focused on safety, productivity and cost reduction, using continuous improvement and project management methods, and works closely with production, maintenance and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex projects for safety, productivity and cost reduction, combining continuous improvement and project management methodologies
• Keep operational documents up to date, creating or revising them when needed
• Support production troubleshooting and apply Six Sigma to complex problems
• Lead the technical and operational team in carrying out actions
• Validate materials, processes, software, MSA and equipment, including new equipment development
• Develop and validate projects using CA and Pega Change Control, and prepare business cases for CAPEX control
• Apply KAS, A3, Blitz, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve production
• Take part in root cause investigations with maintenance and quality, leading them when necessary
• Use MES and SAP systems to identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions and action plans
• Follow the Quality, Safety and Environment policy and regulatory requirements
