IT Engineer – Systems Administration & Identity Management

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Engineer to join our internal IT team in a fast‑growth, regulated fintech environment. You will work at the intersection of startup speed and banking‑grade security, shaping our identity architecture and automating lifecycle workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace as the primary identity provider and manage access controls.
• Design, build, and maintain automated Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) processes using Okta Workflows and SCIM provisioning to apps such as Slack, Jira, Zoom and 1Password.
• Create, deploy and audit MDM policies and configuration profiles in JumpCloud for macOS and Windows fleets.
• Provide tier‑2/3 support via Jira Service Management, identifying root causes and automating repeat issues.
• Enforce Zero Trust, SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance, and manage endpoint protection with Sophos.
• Document procedures in Confluence and standardize IT operations across international offices.
• Monitor infrastructure, audit permissions and recommend API‑first tooling improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of internal IT experience in a fast‑paced, regulated fintech or scale‑up.
• Proven hands‑on expertise with Okta, Okta Workflows and SCIM integrations.
• Deep knowledge of Google Workspace administration as a master IdP.
• Experience creating MDM baselines and policies in JumpCloud (or equivalent).
• Strong background supporting macOS and Windows workstations.
• Automation‑first mindset with a focus on security and user experience.
• Fluent professional English and excellent documentation skills.
