Junior Analyst, Customer Compliance & Fraud

About the role

Join Mastercard’s Customer Compliance & Fraud team as a Junior Analyst. You will support monitoring processes, analyse large data sets, and help identify fraud and compliance risks across our global payment network.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monitoring processes to assess adherence to fraud prevention, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyse customer regulatory, compliance and fraud‑related data using SQL and data‑visualisation tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to provide visibility into fraud trends and compliance gaps.
• Prepare data‑driven insights for customer meetings and contribute recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Assist in investigating suspicious behaviours, escalating findings when appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational performance and explore AI‑driven automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot patterns related to fraud, risk and compliance.
• Foundational experience with SQL and data analysis; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Academic or professional exposure to fraud prevention, risk management or compliance.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio).
