Lead Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Software Engineer to join the App Core team, the backbone of Nubank's mobile platform. You will guide the design and implementation of core infrastructure that powers a high‑performing, stable, and seamless experience for millions of users across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the core mobile infrastructure and SDKs used by product teams.
• Optimize app performance, scalability, and reliability across native Android, iOS, and Flutter codebases.
• Lead migration of legacy components to modern, modular architectures.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and debugging solutions for mobile services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to deliver high‑quality mobile features quickly and safely.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in mobile software development.
• Strong communication skills in English, able to explain complex technical concepts.
• Track record of delivering results in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor engineers and drive technical decisions.
