Learning Support Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Learning Support Assistant Teacher will work directly with students in a classroom or small‑group setting to help them access the curriculum. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who enjoys supporting diverse learners and collaborating with teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑specific support to students as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist in planning and implementing classroom activities and maintaining learning displays.
• Help prepare and order teaching resources and support school administration tasks.
• Support behaviour management in line with school policies.

Required profile

• Relevant Brazilian teaching qualification (Normal or Licenciatura) or an international teaching qualification.
• Experience working in a school environment, preferably with Special Education Needs.
• Fluency in English at C1 level, verified by a recognised qualification.
• Strong organisational skills, professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively.
