Legal Specialist - Contracts & Fintech

About the role

EBANX, a global payments company built on a Latin American fintech, is hiring a Legal Specialist for its Corporate areas, focusing on contracts and fintech. The role sits in the Commercial Legal team and works with global clients and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements with global clients and strategic business partners.
• Provide legal support during contract negotiations, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• Partner with commercial and cross-functional teams, giving legal guidance on strategic initiatives and day-to-day matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring legal consistency and operational efficiency.
• Help improve legal processes, templates and best practices within the Commercial Legal team.

Required profile

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience in payments, banking, financial services or the fintech ecosystem.
• Full professional proficiency in English, the main language with global teams and clients.
• Bonus points for experience in global technology companies or cross-border operations, and familiarity with international commercial transactions and multi-jurisdictional matters.
