Senior Commercial Legal Analyst

About the role

EBANX, a global payments company built on a Latin American fintech foundation, is hiring a Senior Commercial Legal Analyst in São Paulo. The role sits in the Corporate areas and supports commercial teams in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex agreements with global clients and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements with global clients and strategic business partners.
• Provide legal support throughout contract negotiations, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
• Partner with commercial and cross-functional teams, giving legal guidance on strategic initiatives and day-to-day matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring legal consistency and operational efficiency.
• Help improve legal processes, templates and best practices within the Commercial Legal team.

Required profile

• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Executive communication skills, able to explain legal concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Autonomy and ownership, managing priorities and driving projects to completion.
• Intellectual curiosity and adaptability to different legal topics, products and international markets.
• Business-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment.
• Full professional proficiency in English, the primary language with global teams and clients.

Bonus points

• Payments, banking, financial services or fintech experience.
• Global technology company experience or support of cross-border operations.
• Familiarity with international commercial transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
