License Compliance Sales Representative

About the role

The License Compliance Sales Representative leads complex compliance engagements and works directly with C-level stakeholders. The role drives audits from initiation to closure, applies judgment to nuanced issues and mentors junior team members, while bridging compliance insights with strategic sales execution. It is a quota-carrying sales position focused on revenue from compliance-led new business and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end compliance sales motion: investigate usage discrepancies, engage customers and turn findings into revenue-generating outcomes
• Work with partners, sales and customer success, and present findings to C-level stakeholders to negotiate resolutions
• Lead the audit process from start to finish, including presenting usage data and compliance risks
• Resolve nuanced compliance issues using telemetry and audit insights
• Mentor junior team members and improve compliance workflows

Required profile

• 4+ years of SaaS sales and subscription business models
• Strong communication with mid-level customers, independent case management and foundational negotiation skills
• English fluency (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, events and internal meetings

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with telemetry, audit tools or licensing analytics
• Background in software licensing or IP protection
• Experience reviewing data, investigating issues and drafting compliance communications

Compensation includes base salary, possible annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants and a benefits package. In-person onboarding and ID verification may be required.
