Technical Specialist Construction (Remote, São Paulo)

About the role

Autodesk is hiring a Territory Technical Specialist for its Construction business, working remotely and reporting to the Manager of Technical Sales. The specialist partners with LATAM Sales Executives to drive technical closure and revenue growth, helping customers reduce risk, improve predictability and increase efficiency across the construction lifecycle. Candidates must be based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with LATAM Sales Specialists to close new business and expand existing accounts
• Drive technical closure by building customer confidence in Autodesk solutions
• Take part in deal strategy, pipeline reviews and account planning
• Lead or support customer discovery to understand workflows, challenges and success criteria
• Deliver story-driven demonstrations that link solutions to business outcomes
• Adapt messaging for executives, project teams and field users
• Identify and support expansion opportunities within existing accounts
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and internal teams
• Work with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product teams, and ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to deployment
• Share best practices, mentor peers and contribute to team enablement

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the AEC industry, with construction strongly preferred
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is helpful but not required
• Construction delivery experience in roles such as Project Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, Project Engineer or similar
• Experience with construction technology, SaaS solutions and customer-facing technical environments
• Ability to translate complex construction workflows into clear business outcomes, and to present to both technical users and executives
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer and internal meetings

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk Forma or similar platforms
• Familiarity with construction workflows across preconstruction, execution and closeout
• Experience delivering customer-facing presentations or demonstrations
• Background in digital transformation or construction technology adoption

The role is remote, though in-person onboarding and identity verification may be required. Compensation depends on experience and location and may include bonuses, commissions, stock grants and a benefits package.
