LinkedIn Executive Content Writer

About the role

We are seeking a LinkedIn Executive Content Writer to run the executive content program for two brands – Darkroom, a growth marketing agency, and Shadow, an AI commerce platform. This remote role supports executives in creating authentic LinkedIn posts that reflect their personal voice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Executive Content Program day‑to‑day, ensuring each executive has a clear voice, plan, and posting rhythm.
• Conduct recorded voice interviews and transform them into LinkedIn posts.
• Maintain a living “Context File” for each executive covering voice, expertise, stories, and boundaries.
• Ghostwrite, edit, and approve executive posts across formats (text, carousels, short video scripts, repurposed content).
• Coordinate an executive calendar, aligning posts with launches, webinars, and events.
• Track performance of topics, formats, and voices, feeding insights back into the calendar.

Required profile

• Proven experience ghostwriting for founders or executives on LinkedIn, with samples that sound like the individual, not a brand.
• Deep understanding of B2B buyers, DTC, performance marketing, retention, and AI tooling.
• Ability to interview busy executives briefly and produce a week’s worth of distinct posts.
• Sharp editorial eye to remove marketing jargon while preserving personal voice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI writing assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT for research and idea generation.
• Expertise in LinkedIn content formats: hooks, carousels, native video, and comment engagement.
