Manager, Deal Management – FP&A, Strategy & M&A

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Deal Management to support business development and account teams in structuring and executing complex customer agreements across issuing, acquiring, merchant, prepaid, loyalty and non‑BAU deal flows. The role will ensure deals align with strategic objectives while protecting Mastercard assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and incentivize deals that drive desired behavior while safeguarding assets.
• Review financial models and business cases, benchmark proposals, identify risks, and obtain internal approvals.
• Coordinate organizational planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent execution of agreements.
• Manage pipeline deal modelling activities and reporting in partnership with BD and account leads.
• Contribute to LAC finance initiatives, developing long‑term strategies to enhance profitability and competitive advantage.
• Support regional strategic projects to streamline the deal approval process and provide consultative guidance to senior leadership.
• Lead weekly deal committee meetings with functional leads.
• Resolve customer issues related to incentive offers, including impact analysis and management review.
• Provide expertise to cross‑functional teams, quantifying revenue impact for various initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent experience in financial analysis or deal management.
• Bilingual in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
• Strong commercial and strategic focus.
• Expert analytical abilities.
