Manager, SME Specialist Sales – Agribusiness

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Manager, SME Specialist Sales – Agribusiness to drive its go‑to‑market strategy for the agribusiness vertical in Brazil. The role will help expand B2B payment flows and bring digital payment solutions to key players across the agricultural value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Mastercard’s Agribusiness strategy in Brazil.
• Contribute to the design of competitive products and value propositions for buyers, suppliers, financial institutions and ecosystem enablers.
• Analyze and optimize value‑chain economics to create stakeholder value.
• Build and maintain relationships with cooperatives, resellers, suppliers, producers, processors and financial institutions.
• Identify barriers to card acceptance and work with acquirers and partners to increase usage.
• Develop partnerships and alliances to expand reach of Mastercard solutions.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and technological innovations relevant to agribusiness payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Products, Sales, Pricing, Finance, Customer Delivery) to ensure alignment.
• Prepare business cases, presentations and executive materials for customer engagement and internal decisions.
• Track pipeline, implementation milestones and key initiatives to ensure disciplined execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agribusiness, commercial payments, financial services, business development or B2B sales, preferably with exposure to agricultural value chains.
• Strong understanding of the agribusiness ecosystem, including commercial, financial, operational and seasonal dynamics.
• Ability to support go‑to‑market initiatives for specialized segments.
• Excellent relationship‑management skills with internal and external stakeholders across the value chain.
• Analytical, organized and results‑oriented mindset.
