About the role

The Market Development Engineer will drive the growth of BASF’s registered and upcoming agro‑products in the Vale do Araguaia region, ensuring strong market positioning and supporting the sales force.

Key responsibilities

Develop the market for existing and newly launched products, creating business opportunities based on regional characteristics.
Provide technical support to BASF sales teams and customers.
Manage demand generation for crops and seeds together with the sales force in Mato Grosso.
Coordinate the influencer chain, including researchers, recommenders and agricultural consultancies.

Required profile

Completed degree in Agronomic Engineering.
Technical or commercial experience in agribusiness, specifically with soy and corn markets.
Experience in Crop Protection and Seeds segments.
Proven ability to conduct trainings, field days and knowledge‑transfer initiatives.
Experience collaborating with sales teams and influencing stakeholders such as customers, consultants, researchers and influencers.
