Mechanical Engineer – Product Development (Brazil)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative agricultural equipment in Brazil. The role will drive product development from concept through launch, ensuring high‑quality solutions that meet customer needs and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product development and new‑product‑introduction (NPI) execution, managing schedules and profitability.
• Define project requirements and specifications, coordinate and execute project plans.
• Design and validate products using 3D/2D modeling, laboratory and field testing.
• Provide technical documentation and support to Sales, Marketing and Product Support teams.
• Manage cross‑functional interfaces with customers, manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing.
• Collaborate with supply chain to select suppliers and balance cost, quality and technical requirements.
• Offer technical leadership for product support activities and field research to demonstrate product value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in product design, testing and project management with strong field exposure.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools (CREO preferred).
• Solid understanding of the full product development lifecycle for mechanical, electronic or machinery systems.
• Proven problem‑solving ability using independent judgment and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
