About the role
Helibras, the Airbus subsidiary and Latin America’s only helicopter manufacturer, is looking for a Mid‑Level Track Mechanic to ensure operational safety, technical compliance and aircraft readiness on the flight line.
Key responsibilities
- Perform aircraft preparation activities for flight line operations or maintenance in accordance with approved technical data and quality standards.
- Consult documentation for standards and procedures for each specific work type.
- Use required tools, equipment and test apparatus, ensuring compliance with industry quality practices.
- Support execution of aircraft tests and checks on the flight line per Helibras procedures.
- Complete aircraft control records after each activity and ensure all service records are finalized.
- Verify materials used meet manufacturer requirements.
- Perform necessary tests and checks to confirm operational status of inspected or maintained items.
- Conduct pre‑flight, production flight and post‑flight activities according to operational safety documentation.
- Apply manufacturer service bulletins not linked to Airworthiness Directives.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring no tools are left in the aircraft.
Required profile
- Technical education in Aircraft Maintenance (MMA), Mechanics, Electronics or related fields.
- Active CHT in CEL and GMP; CHT in AVI is desirable.
- Previous experience with flight line preparation, pre/post‑flight routines, production flights and functional testing on H125, H130, H135 or H145 helicopters.
- Hands‑on experience with Safran or Pratt & Whitney engines, main gearboxes (MGB), hydraulic systems and Fenestron tail rotor technology.
- Practical knowledge of flight‑control rigging and dynamic rotor balancing.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for interpreting technical documentation (AMM, IPC, WDM, SB).
