On-Site Support Analyst (IT)

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY BRASIL LTDA is looking for an On-Site Support Analyst for its Blumenau, Santa Catarina location. As an OSS analyst, you will provide desk-side IT support for issues requiring physical intervention, work closely with other IT teams to resolve incidents and act as the main customer-facing contact for the IT organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for on-site and remote users, troubleshooting printers, mobile devices (MFA, Wi-Fi, email), shared accounts, factory PCs, network connections and peripherals.
• Prepare, configure and deliver computers and IT equipment ready to use.
• Manage physical stock, run regular inventory checks and oversee the lifecycle of IT devices and accessories.
• Coordinate device shipments, support third-party technicians and handle warranty cases with OEM vendors.
• Assist users in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces and give ad-hoc training on common IT topics.
• Document incidents and solutions, follow OSS governance and procedures (runbooks, SOPs) and comply with internal and external regulations.
• Inspect computer rooms regularly, checking temperature, air conditioning, cabling and overall functionality.
• Identify critical assets, implement security measures such as patching, report abnormal system behaviour and support cybersecurity initiatives with global teams.

Required profile

• Formal education in Information Technology.
• Experience in IT support.
• Fluent in the local language and in English.
• Preferred: ITIL 4 and Lean Six Sigma certification.

• Familiarity with the ServiceNow IT Enterprise Platform.
