Procurement Manager

About the role

As a Procurement Manager at CBRE, you will lead a team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing outsourced service providers. You will support clients and internal departments in developing and executing effective procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, training, performance evaluations and coaching for the procurement team.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring and onboarding of new employees.
• Coordinate daily team activities, set work schedules, assign tasks and cross‑train staff.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and shared services to develop and execute regional procurement strategies.
• Set and track departmental deadlines, mentor staff and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Draft, review, negotiate and maintain contracts for goods and services, managing terminations, extensions and renewals.
• Manage supplier and contractor certification processes and conduct site visits to assess performance.
• Analyze facility‑management spend, suppliers and statements of work to identify value‑creation opportunities.
• Assist in creating RFPs, selecting solutions, negotiating terms and maintaining contracts with national and regional service providers.
• Model CBRE RISE values, influence stakeholders to reach agreements and resolve day‑to‑day issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3‑5 years of relevant procurement experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM or NACM are a plus.
• Proven experience in staffing, training, coaching, performance measurement and employee retention.
• Strong communication skills for handling sensitive and complex information.
• Leadership ability to motivate teams and drive quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
