Product Director, Total Rewards & Pay

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Product Director to lead its Total Rewards & Pay portfolio, based in either São Paulo or Bogotá. The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end performance, evolution and business impact of compensation, recognition, health & wellness, benefits, pay and time products.

Key responsibilities

• Own product strategy, long‑term vision, roadmap and governance for the Rewards, Health & Wellness, Benefits & Pay domain.
• Translate enterprise HR needs, operating models and workforce insights into cohesive product experiences, workflows and role‑based interactions.
• Define and track outcome‑based success metrics covering product performance, data integrity, efficiency and employee experience.
• Develop business cases for all product investments, including value hypotheses, benefits realization and trade‑off decisions.
• Manage the full product lifecycle – innovate, grow, sustain and sunset – while balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term value.
• Act as the hands‑on Product Manager for a core Total Rewards product, leading cross‑functional squads with HR COEs, Global Services, Digital, Data and Delivery teams.
• Drive aligned execution, adoption and measurable business impact across the employee lifecycle.
• Lead, mentor and develop Product Managers and analysts within the product line.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading product lines in HR or Total Rewards environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior HR and enterprise stakeholders.
• Experience managing and developing product managers and analysts.
• Strong strategic, analytical and business‑case development skills.
• Comfort operating in a player/coach model, combining leadership with hands‑on product management.
