Production Planning Analyst (Planner)

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology company, is hiring a production planning analyst in Curitiba, Brazil. The role covers daily analysis of planned orders and purchase requisitions, loading production according to each factory's capacity, and keeping inventory levels aligned with company policy.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze daily proposed requisitions and planned orders created in the system.
• Load production according to each factory's capacity and turn planned orders into production orders or national or imported purchase requisitions.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with company policy and support improvement projects in planning.
• Ensure adherence to the Master Product Schedule and Actual Plan, and follow supply meetings decisions.
• Follow up the entire production process until finished goods are released to distribution centers, and track inventory turnover targets.
• Train colleagues on PCP processes and applications, and monitor planning metrics set by the CIA.
• Maintain close contact with factories and the SNP, and carry out related activities.
• Apply the quality policy, SSMA and BD procedures, focusing on customer needs, maintenance and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields.
• Postgraduate studies or specialization in logistics, business management or related areas desirable.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics desirable.
• Intermediate English; advanced level is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP transactions for planning, including SAP, BW and MES.
