About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Writing Teacher for Fund II to plan and deliver engaging language lessons, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with academic and psychology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance, share plans with the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator, and prepare necessary classroom materials.
• Maintain up‑to‑date grade books, enter grades promptly, and design monthly assessments.
• Decorate the classroom with relevant educational materials and supervise playground duties.
• Work with the Psychology Department and Academic Coordinator to support students with academic, behavioral, or special‑needs issues.
• Participate in teacher meetings, institutional workshops, parent meetings, and school events.
• Record daily attendance, organize student portfolios, and monitor homework boards.
• Promote open communication with students and parents and encourage involvement in school subcommittees and community projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, inclusion, and the school’s core principles.

Required skills

• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to use digital teaching tools effectively.
