QC Micro Specialist

About the role

Baxter is hiring a QC Micro specialist in São Paulo (Zona Sul, Interlagos). The role covers microbiological quality control, including trend analysis of microbiological results, validation of methods, investigation of laboratory non-conformities and training of laboratory analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical reports with trend evaluation of microbiological results
• Lead projects implementing new tests and continuous improvement
• Perform validations and re-validations of methods (documentation and practical parts)
• Monitor equipment qualification and requalification
• Write and revise microbiological quality control operating procedures
• Identify, record and lead laboratory investigations and non-conformities
• Run the dose audit program and review standard preparation and solutions
• Carry out and follow up disinfectant efficacy studies and growth promotion tests in culture media
• Train and qualify laboratory analysts
• Analyze microbiological laboratory risk and review change controls affecting the lab
• Review analytical data and release finished products, intermediates and raw materials
• Comply with company standards, quality, health, safety and environment policies and data integrity requirements

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Biology or Biomedicine
• Postgraduate degree desirable
• Advanced English
• Experience with routine testing of injectable products
