Remote Kafka Developer

About the role

Join BairesDev’s global engineering team as a Remote Kafka Developer. You will work on high‑impact web applications, designing and implementing data pipelines that move information reliably across multiple sources.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications that rely on Kafka for data streaming.
• Design optimal approaches for moving data from diverse sources using Apache/Confluent Kafka.
• Identify, isolate, resolve, and communicate production issues.
• Write clean code and perform unit testing for large‑scope modules.
• Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies for system building.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Kafka.
• Strong technical knowledge of Apache/Confluent Kafka, Big Data ecosystems, and Spark/PySpark.
• Hands‑on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Extensive background in in‑memory applications, database design, and data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
